Josh had just gotten back from an Olympics-filled weekend in Vancouver with his friends, and we had planned to have a low-key night so I could hear all his hilarious stories about curling matches, being interviewed by foreign reporters, and so on. I thought he was acting a bit strange all day, making comments about how he really thought we should watch an episode or two of Seinfeld or Arrested Development—my two favorite shows—just for fun that night, so it crossed my mind that he seemed to be up to something, maybe even along the lines of a proposal.
